What types of training does Voluna Consulting offer?

We specialize in comprehensive training on the Salesforce platform, such as Matchforce Fundraising and the Non-Profit Success Pack (NPSP), including its integration with Microsoft Office products and Google Workspace. Additionally, we provide training related to Continuous Improvement and Organizational Development. Our programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of your organization; this means we find the best solutions that matter most to your team, ensuring you get the most of your investment.

Do you provide ongoing support after training?

Absolutely! We believe in building lasting relationships and partnerships. After your training, we offer consulting  and "check in" services to help you implement the process improvements and address any challenges you may face. Everyone's learning journey is different, and sometimes technology can throw some unexpected curveballs. We can work together after training as our goal is for you to feel confident and empowered in the systems you are utilizing!

How do you customize the trainings?

We offer a free initial consultation as the very first step in our process. This gives us the chance to meet to talk through areas you may feel stuck or frustrated, what has been implemented previously, and what you want the end result to look like. Following our consultation, we will create a proposal to fit your unique needs and review with you. During the review process, we will make any final changes, and discuss a mutually agreed upon schedule for training or other project-based services. Pricing will vary based on training needs, but will typically range between $300-$450 per session. All pricing will be discussed and finalized during the proposal review process.

What if we don't want a training, but need help with a database related project?

Not a problem at all! We understand that every organization is unique; sometimes it's not about needing training, rather it's finding time to work on those important data related projects. We also offer project based services, such as data entry and data cleanup. The request for project based services vs. training, or in addition to training, can be discussed during the initial consultation. Project based work will be priced at an hourly rate ranging between $30-$45 per hour. All pricing will be discussed and finalized during the proposal review process.

Where does the term "Voluna" come from?
What does it mean?

Voluna is a combination of two words:

 "Vol" is an abbreviation for the Latin word "volare", which means "to fly."  The word "luna" is an abbreviation for "lunar", which is a more literal translation in reference to the moon.

Combining both elements of flight and the moon were imperative when contemplating a name to fully embody the mission and purpose of the business.

So you're saying "Voluna" is "to fly to the moon"?

In terms of the literal translation, that does make sense! However think of it in a more symbolic mindset.

"Vol", as in "to fly", refers to the quote by Charlie Wardle listed above. The intention is to inspire others to have the same level of unwavering self-confidence and trust in themselves, so they may take flight.

"Luna" for the moon is in reference to a guiding light in the darkness. If one is ever feeling lost or alone at night, the moon shines warmly and calmly, oftentimes illuminating a path that lies ahead. This reassuring presence is integral when working with each and every individual.

Did you know?

When trying to figure out what to call the business, there were a few different ideas out there relating to the moon, birds, and flight. While brainstorming and researching, we learned that many different songbirds and seabirds do in fact utilize the moon at night to help aid in their migratory flight patterns. Knowing this, we no longer needed to have the naming theme only related to the moon or birds/flying.
Both could be present and exist beautifully, thus the name Voluna was chosen for the business!
